It is a laborious and costly task to clean big areas with detergents, especially if they have nooks where dirt can hide, such as production lines in food industry, and garbage trucks and other special vehicles. This is where washdowns with pressurized water can help.

What are the dangers of cleaning with pressurized water?

While it is efficient to use a pressure washer for cleaning, the water leaves the hose with such force that it can easily damage the control panel. It can cause these three outcomes:

Keys can come off leaving the electronics exposed and function difficult to use

Water can flush through the smallest of cracks and flood the electronics

With the water can also come dirt that lays itself on the mechanics and blocks functions

There is an IP rating specially designated for pressurized washdowns – it is called IP69K. To reach this level of protection you will need:
