Standalone switch modules for CAN J1939 or LIN networks

The KS series is a standalone switch module compatible with CAN J1939 (Master Switch Pack – SP6M) and LIN (Slave Switch Pack – SP6E) communication networks.

Designed with system flexibility in mind, the mechanical switch components are separated from the electronic platform, allowing easy integration into complex vehicle architectures.

The KS series features an innovative and modular rocker switch system mounted on a dedicated electronic platform. The console is optimized for modularity and can be adapted to suit specific driver preferences.

Each module supports up to six backlit switches, available in momentary or latching configurations, with 2- or 3-position functionality. These switches are fully compatible with APEM’s KR series.

Switch functionalities are customizable via software to meet a wide range of application needs. The SP6M master variant integrates both CAN and LIN interfaces, while the SP6E slave variant includes a LIN interface.

All KS modules are designed with water run-off protection to ensure enhanced durability in demanding environments
