APEM LOGO EVOLVES

PARTNERSHIP OCTOBER 10, 2017

Further to the completion of APEM’s acquisition by IDEC in March 2017, the APEM logo is evolving. The combination of the two industrial groups aims to maximize their strengths and innovative abilities for long-term growth.

A NEW MARKET LEADER IS BORN

Together, IDEC and APEM are now one of the world’s largest manufacturers of human machine interface (HMI) components, panels and systems.

With more than $500 million in total sales, the combined entity has a broad portfolio of industrial automation and HMI products, and access to markets across Europe, North America and Asia.

AN ALLIANCE FOR A SHARED FUTURE

APEM and IDEC share many of the same values including high quality products, excellent customer service, and a commitment to the long-term development of their employees.

It is therefore needed for APEM communication to change in order to highlight the new alliance with IDEC. While retaining the graphic guidelines that have ensured the reputation and image of the APEM brand, the logo will change in 2017 to emphasize the association with the IDEC brand.

EVOLUTION AS OPPOSED TO REVOLUTION

The statement “an IDEC company” will now be combined with the APEM logo and will be used progressively on all APEM media communications.
The main features of our communication in the coming months will be driven towards the strengths of a recently created leader while preserving the DNA and brand identity of APEM.
