Overlay materials and ESD shielding are important custom features that are requested by customers for specific applications. Here are some guidelines to consider.
Graphic Graphic Overlays and Labels
Graphics optimize your products’ visual appeal and provide for a clear, smooth operator interface.
- Polycarbonate and polyester graphic substrates offer a variety of surface treatments including textures, chemical and abrasion resistance, embossing is also available.
- APEM will match colors to PMS, RAL, and Federal Standard 595 colors or to your supplied sample.
- Embossing of keys add a distinctive feature. Typical forms include Rim, Pillow, and Dome emboss.
- Windows for LCD readouts and LEDs can be either clear or color tinted. An additional feature APEM can provide is a build-up of material over the LCD readout when there is concern that the graphic thickness is insufficient to protect the LCD.
- Selective texturing is used to provide a non-glare, hard coated surface texture in applications requirement a clear readout window.
- Insertable legends can allow you to further customize your application without any sacrifice in quality.
- All artwork and APEM generated prints are submitted for your approval prior to printing.
- Laser cutting of prototype quantities minimize tooling cost.
